Do White People In Zimbabwe Celebrate Independence Day?

April the 18th marked Zimbabwe’s 37th year of independence from white supremacy. Most Zimbabweans were out last weekend celebrating in style. It was good to be in an environment that was predominantly black. Even people from other African countries came out to celebrate with us. Although things might not be looking great for Zimbabwe, #Zim37 definitely gave us a glimmer of hope for the future. Despite colonization only ending 37 years ago, white people in Zimbabwe are still reaping the financial benefits of it all. Which then begs the question, do white people in formerly colonized African countries celebrate independence?

Here Are The Following Reasons Why White People In Zimbabwe Don’t Celebrate Independence Day:

Blood On The Leaves

We literally had to shed blood, sweat and tears in order to regain control of our country from the filthy whites. Many black lives were lost during the Rhodesian bush war which lasted from July 1964 all the way to July 1979. Other than murder, there’s really nothing for white people to celebrate on Zimbabwe’s day of independence.

Mugabe Genuinely Did Nothing Wrong

White people went crazy when Mugabe decided to repossess white owned farms. The aim of the game was to then redistribute the farms back to the true natives of the land. This never happened. The farms went to the ruling elite of Zimbabwe who didn’t know anything about agriculture. There’s a fake article that started spreading talking about how Mugabe was begging for white farmers to come back to Zimbabwe. That’s completely false.

There’s No Such Thing As A “White Zimbabwean.”

Under no circumstances can white people in Zimbabwe be classed as “Africans.” What kind of bullshit is that? It’s high time that white people in Zimbabwe dug up their family tree and fucked off back to Europe. How can people that are indigenous to the land be suffering, meanwhile white foreigners are living the high life.

Fuck Cecil Rhodes, Ian Smith And All The White People In Zim.

You know that old saying, “history always repeats itself.” It applies in every context. White people have always thought that they were the superior race. Cecil Rhodes felt so entitled to Zimbabwe that he had the cheek to name it after himself. Hence the fact that Zimbabwe used to be called “Rhodesia.” Cecil Rhodes was an evil white man who believed that Anglo-Saxons were the first race in the world. He also believed that the more land that white people inhabit, the better it is for the human race. Typical white British mentality if you ask me. Ian Smith was Prime Minister of Rhodesia during April 1964 – June 1979. He was just a straight up wasteman to put into simple terms. Britain owes Zimbabwe trillions of dollars in reparations. Independence simply wasn’t enough. We want our money and we want it now!!!!!!

White People Fucked Up Our Country, Then Tried Acting As If Colonization Was A Good Thing.

All you ever hear from white people is how Zimbabwe would be better off if they were still in charge. Fuck outta here. Zimbabwe was doing just fine before these dirty white crackers decided to invade our land. We have so much potential as a country, but sometimes our stubbornness really gets the best of us. As the great African proverb says, “It gets worse before it gets better.”
